“MSU Law both educates their students in traditional law and prepares students for modern-day employment.”

Kelsey Brunette-Fielder was drawn to MSU Law because of the school's focus on practical skills. “With the ReInvent Law program and classes like Contract Negotiation and Mediation, MSU Law both educates their students in traditional law and prepares students for modern-day employment.”

Kelsey said the school encourages relationships among the students that are simultaneously friendly and competitive. “Unlike other schools, MSU Law students use each other for support. This is one of the strengths of MSU Law that would be difficult to find anywhere else.”

At MSU Law, Kelsey was able to integrate a variety of her interests with the college community. “When I approached the Office of Student Affairs about my interest in promoting health and fitness in the school, they put me in contact with other like-minded students and we established Wellness in Practice. Such support helped me to become part of the MSU Law community,” she said.
