“I learned a great deal as a member of the Moot Court Team and Trial Practice Institute. Both helped me gain experience in litigation that would have otherwise been learned in the trenches of real practice, where so much more is at stake.”

Brian Davis’s practice focuses on Civil Rights Litigation, particularly in employment law. He has practiced in both the State and Federal circuits. He also focuses on Construction Law, Personal Injury, and Family Law. “The most rewarding aspect of my position is helping people through their legal problems, particularly when someone has endured discrimination resulting in extreme hardship,” he said. “Civil Rights litigation permits me to work on a contingent fee, helping those who often have very little.”

For Brian, MSU College of Law provided him with important experiences in various clubs and organizations. “I learned a great deal as a member of the Moot Court Team and the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute. Both helped me gain experience in litigation that would have otherwise been learned in the trenches of real practice, where so much more is at stake,” he said. “MSU Law has wonderful faculty and staff that are always willing to help students through the rigors of law school. In the difficult law school environment, it is nice to know you have support from those instructing you.”
