Creating a Road Map for Undergraduates Considering Law School

Tuesday, April 22, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., EST

This webinar will offer a road map of helpful recommendations for college first-year, sophomore, junior and transfer students who are considering law school.  Topics will include the following:

  • Action steps to take as you consider law school
  • Courses and skills that can provide a strong foundation for success in law school
  • Suggestions for learning more about legal careers and salary information
  • Insights regarding the financial aspects relating to law school
  • Strategies to position yourself for admission and scholarship opportunities at the law schools of your choice
  • A timeline for preparing for and applying to law school

Following the presenters' remarks will be a 15-minute Q and A session in which webinar participants may ask questions.

Kevin Freeman is Pre-Law Advisor and Program Manager for the Politics, Society and Law Scholars Program at The Ohio State University.
Allyson Lowe is Pre-Law Advisor and Chair of the Department of Political Science at Carlow University.
Karen Severn is Coordinator of Prelaw and PrePharmacy Advising at Texas A & M University.
Charles Roboski is assistant dean of admissions and financial aid at Michigan State University College of Law.
