Law College Alumni Reminisce at Elwood
It's true the Elwood Grill in Detroit holds a special place in the hearts of many DCL alumni, which is why returning there recently was a special and meaningful place to see old friends and remember the "good ole days."
"What a fun event," said Pat Battersby, '85, who recalls spending some time at the Elwood as a law student, although she says, "there weren't any windows like there are now."
While the name remains, many of the features that the Elwood was famous for do not. Nonetheless, more than 50 alumni attended the Alumni Association-sponsored event and were glad to be back in the neighborhood where so many study groups took a break from class.
The "Meet Me at the Elwood" event is just one of several throughout the year sponsored by the MSU College of Law Alumni Association designed to get you involved, provide networking opportunities and keep you abreast of happenings at your alma mater.
