Trustee Linda Orlans is the founding shareholder of Orlans Associates P.C., Orlans Moran PLLC, and e-Title Agency, Inc.

Orlans manages over 200 employees in a multi-state practice serving as designated counsel for Freddie Mac and retained counsel for Fannie Mae. Her practice includes residential mortgage foreclosures, bankruptcies, evictions, and real estate related matters. Orlans Moran PLLC is a law firm in Massachusetts and also services New Hampshire and Rhode Island, while e-Title Agency is one of the largest agents in Michigan.

In addition to her legal and title practice, she is active in numerous charitable groups including Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan, serving on the Executive Board and as Fundraising Chair. She is a founding member of the Beaumont Hospital Foundation’s First Words Society and serves as legal counsel and on the Board of Directors for Beyond Basics, a community support group for underserved school children and their families in Detroit and Pontiac. She worked to bring HOPE: Home Ownership Preservation Enterprise to Detroit, an organization that preserves homeownership. She also serves as a distinguished clown in Detroit’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and supports the Parade Company events.

Her charitable efforts reach beyond her own contributions, as well. In 2006, Orlans P.C. was named the winner of the “Food Fight on Big Beaver (and Beyond)” for providing over 19,000 meals to residents of Southeastern Michigan. The firm is continually participating in food and clothing drives supporting the local and surrounding communities.

Orlans is a frequent speaker and trainer on a broad spectrum of issues including home retention, innovation, process improvement, and team building. She is the founding member of WEB (Women Executives in Banking) and has recently been asked to serve on the Board of Directors for the Inforum Center for Leadership, formerly the Women’s Economic Club.

Orlans is a member and has served on the Board of Directors of the American Legal and Financial Network, and Orlans P.C. has been accepted to the USFN (America’s Mortgage Banking Attorney’s). She is a member of several trade organizations including the American Bankruptcy Institute, Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association, Mortgage Bankers Association, Michigan Mortgage Brokers Association, REOMAC, and the Women’s Lawyers Association in Michigan.

Orlans holds degrees from Wayne State University and Michigan State University College of Law.
