Biography
Jon E. Shackelford is an intellectual property lawyer and co-founder of Endurance Law Group PLC. Shackelford has more than 25 years of experience in the IP field and serves as legal counsel to a wide spectrum of clients on matters of intellectual property strategy and implementation. From 1997-2004, Shackelford was senior IP Counsel to Federal-Mogul Corporation, a global automotive components supplier, overseeing the company's worldwide intellectual property interests and managing an international staff. He is a frequent lecturer on intellectual property topics to entrepreneur groups, and is also an amateur inventor/entrepreneur. He received his Bachelor's degree (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Institute of Technology (1986) and his law degree (JD) from Wayne State University (1990). He is based in Jackson, Michigan. Shackelford teaches Patent Application Preparation.
