MSU LAW Graduates Excel at Bar

EAST LANSING, Mich. — Michigan State University College of Law recently announced the overwhelming passage rates of Spring 2006 graduates who took Bar examination in July.

Reported results from across the country show 97 percent of its Spring ’06 graduates passed the Michigan Bar Examination and 93 percent of the Law College’s graduates passed overall. In addition, Spring ’06 graduates are now able to practice law in 28 states across the nation, earning a 95 percent passage rate for those graduates who took the exam out-of-state.

“MSU Law prides itself in preparing its students in and outside the classroom to enter the career of law,” Kevin W. Saunders, acting senior associate dean for the law college said. “The Law College takes great pleasure in seeing its graduates become a part of the distinguished legal community.”

MSU College of Law ‘06 graduates are now certified to practice law across the country in general practice and in specialty areas such as intellectual property, corporate law, trial practice, alternative dispute resolution, international law, public interest law, and health law.
