Get Ready to Start a 21st Century Law Firm

Interesting in running your own firm? The State Bar of Michigan is offering a one-day intensive workshop on Friday, January 15, at MSU Law to equip you with the tools to succeed in running a modern legal practice. From software to billing to malpractice insurance, subject matter experts and current practitioners will cover the topics that new lawyers need to know.

“Today’s client expects more for less,” explains Daniel W. Linna Jr., Assistant Dean for Career Development at MSU Law and Director of LegalRnD. “Law students must be ready to use technology and innovative practices to operate in a fast-paced, value-driven environment. That’s what this workshop is all about.”

You’ll learn about flaws in the contemporary legal-services delivery model – and the opportunities that exist for forward-thinking practitioners.
