- What we do
The Equitable Entrepreneurship & Innovation Law Clinic helps business owners to navigate the complex legal processes associated with starting a company and protecting their intellectual property. Our goal is to provide comprehensive, forward-looking analysis and recommendations to help position entrepreneurs for long-term growth and business success.
- How we work
Our clinic students work directly with clients and listen to them describe their business needs. After an intake interview, the students discuss each case with a supervising faculty member, and they work together to analyze the legal issues and generate specific advice and recommendations. Students clinicians can also undertake limited drafting of business documents. We advise on a wide range of issues, including:
- Copyright
- Trademark
- Patent
- Trade Secret
- Business Entity Formation (incorporation)
- Contracts
- Licensing
- Who we help
