Summer 2024 Enrollment Instructions
The Summer 2024 course schedule is available to view on the Student Services portal. Faculty and Staff should log in through the Web Services portal. Please note that the schedule is subject to change until classes begin.
Prior to enrollment, it is recommended that you add classes to your Shopping Cart and “validate” your class selections to confirm you are ready to enroll. The validation will check for prerequisites and alert you to any approvals that are needed, time conflicts and list any holds that would prevent you from enrolling. Then, when it is time for you to enroll, you will be ready to do so with ease. You can access your shopping cart and class schedule by logging into MSU’s SIS at student.msu.edu and clicking on the tile labeled “Classes.” Two-factor authentication is now required for SIS. For more information and to register your credentials, go to secureit.msu.edu/two-factor. Informational videos demonstrating the Class Search and Shopping Cart functionalities, as well as other help resources, are available online at sis.msu.edu/sishelp.html. If you find you are having difficulties, please consult the SIS Enrollment FAQs page.
Until courses begin, the schedule is subject to change. Please review the schedule posted on the College of Law website for specific information regarding exams and the following:
E = Experiential learning, P = Permission required, S = Professional skills course, U = satisfies ULWR.
To assist you in achieving your Law program and career objectives, the Office of Student Affairs has put together a short, self-enroll D2L community with modules and resources on a variety of topics, including graduation requirements, honors, and the bar exam. Please visit the Navigating the Law School Beyond the First Year Self Enrollment page to enroll. If you have questions about requirements, course selection, or policy and procedure Dean Taylor and Director Jarquin in the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), as your Academic Advisors, are happy to help you navigate those things. To setup a meeting you can select a time that works for you on their Bookings page.

Special Note to Scholarship Students
Charges assessed for a course that is dropped after the 100% refund date are NOT covered by scholarships. The student will be required to pay the full rate of tuition for the dropped course.
