BLSA: Alumni, Donors, and Friends

Alumni

Alumni play a vital role in the lives of law students and the overall law school experience. Each year, the Black Law Students Association is made better because of the tireless efforts of our alumni. We value your experiences and want to learn more through working directly with you. So get connected and get involved!

Get Connected

We want to hear from you...where you've been, what you're doing, and where you're going! Please use the form below to let us know what is happening in your life or simply update your contact information. Please feel free to send us pictures of your latest adventures to msucolblsa@gmail.com.

Get Involved

Here are just a few of the many ways you can GET INVOLVED...

Become a Mentor
Who knows the law school process better than you-our alumni? It is through your involvement that our students are better able to navigate the law school experience and ultimately the legal community. So share your knowledge, your experiences, and your expertise by becoming a mentor. For more information, click here for the Alumni Mentor Program brochure (PDF). To ensure that you are matched with a BLSA member, please specify "BLSA Member" in the interest section of the form.

Post an Employment Opportunity
Practical legal experience is a must. Help a law student be more "practice-ready" by posting an employment, externship, or internship opportunity. To post an opportunity, please email the position announcement to msucolblsa@gmail.com.

Be a Guest Speaker or Panelist
Mentoring is just one way to share your knowledge, experiences, and expertise. We invite you to be our guest speaker or panelist at a future BLSA program or event. If you are interested in serving as a guest speaker or panelist email us at msucolblsa@gmail.com.

Host an Event
Work with fellow alumni and BLSA to host an event in your area. Great ideas for an event-4th of July BBQ, Superbowl Party, Mardi Gras, New Year's Eve Party, or whenever. To host an event, email us at msucolblsa@gmail.com.

Attend a Meeting or Program
There is nothing better than having our alumni join for a program or event. For a list of upcoming events, click here.
