The Global Food Law Program offers over 20 food law courses designed to meet the needs of students, industry and regulators. We welcome you to join us as a guest student in any of our courses.
Join us as a guest student and gain cutting edge knowledge that can be applied immediately. Guest students participate in courses alongside our degree seeking students and are held to the same academic standards. All Global Food Law students pay the same tuition rate (Currently $950 USD per credit) and have access to the same university resources.
Take the first step and begin with a single course. Many students currently pursuing their Masters of Jurisprudence or Masters of Law in Global Food Law began by taking an individual course. Once in the program, most go on to apply to pursue the master’s degree. Up to six credits earned as a Global Food Law guest student can be transferred to a MSU College of Law Global Food Law master’s degree.
Students interested in having an MSU College of Law Global Food Law course transferred to a degree program at another university should work with their major advisor to secure a letter of approval to enroll in the course. The Admissions Committee meets twice a month. The applicant portal allows you to logon at any point to see the status of your application. Global Food Law staff are available to help answer your questions before, during and after your course. Reach out to us as needed. Once admitted, an advisor will hold a short phone call with you to ensure they are enrolled, ready and able to being the first day of courses.
