Biography

Elise Bernlohr Maizel is an Assistant Professor at Michigan State University College of Law. Her scholarship examines the role of the legal profession in corporate governance and corporate misconduct. This work focuses on cultural, structural, and doctrinal factors that shape law practice and corporate behavior. Her writing has appeared in or is forthcoming with leading law journals including the Duke Law Journal, Fordham Law Review, Journal of Corporation Law, and UC Law Journal. Professor Maiz
